Young People

A horse takes a young person as they are.

A horse takes a young person as they are.

A horse responds to a young person as they are, whatever their grades say and whoever others expect them to be. A horse is the opposite of a screen: large, alive, and responding only to what is true in the person beside it.

Looking after a horse takes steadiness, attention and keeping your word. The horse answers with trust, and a young person knows they earned it.

The programme is for pre-teens and young teenagers: caring for horses, life in the stable, time in nature, Horse Guided Empowerment, and riding where it fits. Days with their hands busy, their phones far away, and other young people beside them.

They leave feeling understood before they said a word, having looked after something larger than themselves, and knowing what they are capable of.

The first programme is being designed. Leave your name to hear about it first.
